General Assembly ARDEVA SOUTHERN

Monday, April 7, 2008, stood in TOULON general meeting of the SOUTH EAST ARDEVA
President Monique Nowak took stock of the past year which was punctuated by two major events before the TASS (Courts Business Social Security) from Toulon and Marseilles.
Like every year, it listed the names of victims, members of the association who died in 2007.
She referred to threats to Asbestos early retirement that were originally intended to compensate for the reduced life expectancy of workers working in contact with asbestos.
She also mentioned a latent drama, the children with materials containing asbestos in schools.
At the forum, Monique Nowak was surrounded by his office. We noted the presence of Mr. Joel SOFA, Vice President PACA Regional Council, came to inform the members of its shares in favor of victims, and protection of individuals against asbestos.
We also noted the presence of Master Sylvie Topaloff came to inform the victims, who know the bumps compensation, according to the judges. Whereas some victims of pleural plaques (calcification of the envelope of the lungs) are not harmed and were therefore entitled to compensation ridiculous or no compensation at all.
The meeting was particularly outraged that, despite the magnitude of the health disaster which has been proved, manufacturers are still poisoners accomplices to deny or ridicule, distress and death to their victims.
Nevertheless, the protests have had an impact on compensation packages that are returned to an "acceptable" rate despite an overall decline nationally.
